I've had a love for flowers from an early age and I can thank my Gran for my love of blooms, as she is the most green-fingered person I know - she can make anything grow with seemingly little effort!
After starting a Saturday job in a local florist at the age of fourteen, it never occurred to me that it could be the beginning of a career path. It was just good fun working with the girls, having a laugh, drinking tea and arranging flowers.
In fact my career went along a completely different path to start with. After finishing school, I went on to College and then University to study Fashion Design, and after graduating I progressed with my career as a Designer, working for many well known labels. It wasn't until I did the flowers for my best friend's wedding that the floral spark was truly re-ignited.
Fast forward a few years to my studio set up in the heart of Staffordshire, within the National Forest, and now I love to create unique, luxury, bespoke floral designs, taking inspiration from the nature all around us - and of course Gran's garden!
